Terms of Service
Last updated July 19, 2026
The short version. Your photos stay yours — we take only the licence needed to show them to your klk, and never use them to advertise or to train anything. Post only what you have the right to post, keep invite links inside the group they were meant for, and keep your own copies of what matters: klk is a way to share your photos, not a backup of them.
These terms are an agreement between you and klk. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not, do not use klk.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to have an account, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to the photos, video and text you post. You grant klk only the licence it needs to run the service — to store your content, and to display it to the members of the klk you posted it to. That licence exists for no other purpose: we do not use your content to advertise, to promote klk, or to train anything, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.
Only post content you have the right to post. Getting the agreement of the people in your photos is on you, not on us.
What you may not do
- Post content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of children, or that harasses, threatens or defames someone.
- Post content you do not have the rights to.
- Share invite links outside the group they were meant for, or use someone else's invite to get into a klk you were not invited to.
- Attempt to access accounts, klks or content that are not yours; probe or circumvent the app's security rules; or scrape, automate against, or reverse engineer the service.
- Impersonate another person, or use klk to send spam or unsolicited messages.
klk is a private space with no public surface, so moderation is mostly the klk's own business. We do not review content proactively. If something is reported to us that breaks these terms or the law, we may remove it and suspend or terminate the accounts involved.
klks and membership
A klk's creator can invite people, revoke unused invite links, remove members, and delete the klk. Deleting a klk deletes the content posted to it. You can leave a klk at any time; content you posted there stays visible to that klk unless you delete it first.
Ending it
You can stop using klk at any time and request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or discontinue the service — if we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice and a way to get your content out.
Paid features
klk is free today. If paid features are introduced later, their price and terms will be shown before you buy, and purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's terms and refund policy.
No warranty
klk is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you care about — klk is a way to share your photos, not a backup of them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, klk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost content or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid klk in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty US dollars.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the date above will change. Continuing to use klk after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
