Common questions
How do I join a klk?
Only through an invite link from someone already in it. Each link is single-use and expires, so it works for exactly one person. There is no directory to browse and no way to request access to a klk you were not invited to.
My invite link says it is expired or already used.
Ask whoever invited you for a fresh one. Links are single-use by design — if someone else opened it first, or it sat unused too long, it stops working rather than staying open.
Who can see what I post?
Only the members of the klk you posted it to. People you share no klk with cannot see your content or even find that your account exists, and there is no public surface at all — no profiles, no explore feed, nothing on the web. See the privacy policy for the full picture, including what we can technically see ourselves.
Is klk end-to-end encrypted?
Not today. Your content is protected by server-side security rules that check klk membership on every read and write, which means only your klk can see it — but the operator retains technical access to what is stored on the servers. End-to-end encryption is planned. We would rather tell you this plainly than imply otherwise.
How much does klk cost?
It is free. There are no ads and nothing is sold. Full-resolution photo export is coming and will likely be the one paid thing; if that ships, the price and terms will be shown before you buy.
How do I leave a klk, or delete one?
You can leave any klk at any time. Content you already posted there stays visible to that klk unless you delete it first, so delete anything you want gone before you go. A klk's creator can remove members or delete the klk outright — deleting it deletes the content posted to it.
How do I delete my account?
Email privacy@klkapp.com from the address on the account. We will delete your account, profile, push tokens and the content you posted, and remove you from your klks. Backups may hold copies for up to 30 days before they age out.
Something in a klk needs reporting.
klk is a private space with no public surface, so we do not review content proactively — moderation is mostly the klk's own business. If something breaks the terms or the law, email support@klkapp.com with the details and we may remove it and suspend the accounts involved.
Do photos keep their location data?
Yes. Media is uploaded as you selected it and we do not strip embedded EXIF metadata, so assume anything your camera recorded — including location — travels with the photo to the other members of that klk.
Still stuck?
Send the details — what happened, what you expected, and your device and OS version if it is a bug — to support@klkapp.com and we will take a look.
